Hai lo\u1ea1i thi\u1ec1n \u1ea5y l\u00e0 thi\u1ec1n qu\u00e1n (vipassana) v\u00e0 thi\u1ec1n \u0111\u1ecbnh (samatha).<\/p>\n<p>Thi\u1ec1n qu\u00e1n, vipassana, c\u00f2n \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c d\u1ecbch l\u00e0 thi\u1ec1n Minh s\u00e1t, c\u00f3 ngh\u0129a l\u00e0 m\u1ed9t \u00fd th\u1ee9c, m\u1ed9t c\u00e1i th\u1ea5y r\u00f5 r\u00e0ng v\u00e0 ch\u00ednh x\u00e1c v\u1ec1 nh\u1eefng g\u00ec \u0111ang x\u1ea3y ra. Thi\u1ec1n \u0111\u1ecbnh, samatha, c\u00f2n \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c d\u1ecbch l\u00e0 thi\u1ec1n t\u0129nh l\u1eb7ng hay thi\u1ec1n ch\u1ec9, c\u00f3 ngh\u0129a l\u00e0 d\u1eebng l\u1ea1i. \u0110\u00e2y l\u00e0 m\u1ed9t tr\u1ea1ng th\u00e1i khi t\u00e2m ta t\u1eadp trung v\u00e0o m\u1ed9t \u0111\u1ed1i t\u01b0\u1ee3ng duy nh\u1ea5t n\u00e0o \u0111\u00f3, d\u1eebng l\u1ea1i, v\u00e0 kh\u00f4ng \u0111i ra ngo\u00e0i \u0111\u1ed1i t\u01b0\u1ee3ng \u1ea5y.
